Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Topics AI Assistant ("the App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1.1. App Functionality: The App is a Chat AI application that allows you to interact with artificial intelligence models through a conversational interface. You can send text messages and prompts and receive AI-generated responses.
1.2. No Account Required: The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal identification information such as your name, email address, or profile picture to use the core features.
2.1. Analytics: We use analytics services to track user actions within the App to improve its functionality and user experience. Additionally, Crash Analytics is employed to collect technical information about the App's performance in case of crashes or errors.
2.2. Chat Content: When you use the chat features of the App, the text content of your messages (user-generated content) is sent to our servers and then forwarded to third-party AI service providers to generate responses. The App does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information. Users must not include personal information in their chat messages.
2.3. Third-Party AI Services: Our servers utilize third-party AI models, including but not limited to OpenAI (GPT models), Anthropic (Claude models), and Google (Gemini models), to generate responses. Only the text content of your messages is sent to these providers. No personally identifiable information is included. Users acknowledge that generated content is obtained using third-party AI models and agree to the forwarding of their chat messages to these services. 3.1. Paid Subscriptions: The App offers subscription plans for users who wish to access enhanced features. Subscribers are entitled to generate more AI-powered messages per day and access additional capabilities.
3.2. Free Version: Users who do not subscribe are limited to a set number of AI-generated messages per day under the free version.
4.1. Acknowledgment: By using the AI chat features, you acknowledge that your chat messages (user-generated content) are forwarded to third-party AI service providers for the sole purpose of generating AI responses. Since the App does not collect or share personally identifiable information, this transmission constitutes sharing of user-generated content, not personal data.
4.2. What Content Is Shared: Only the text content of your chat messages and prompts is forwarded to third-party AI services. No personally identifiable data is shared. Your IP address is cryptographically hashed before any storage or transmission and is never shared with third-party AI providers in any form. Only the hashed (anonymized) IP is used for analytics purposes, including when provided to Apple. Users must not include personal information in their messages.
4.3. Who Content Is Shared With: Your chat content may be processed by OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.), Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC), and Google (Google LLC). We may update this list as new providers are added. Changes will be reflected in our Privacy Policy.
5.1. No Guarantees: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App, as its functionality may depend on external services and factors beyond our control.
5.2. Reporting Issues: We encourage users to report any issues or problems they encounter while using the App for prompt assistance and resolution.
6.1. Updates: These Terms may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of any material changes to these Terms, and continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
7.1 Content Responsibility: The App does not take responsibility for any content sent by users through our service.
7.2 Content Generation: Users agree that generated content is obtained using third-party AI models and consent to the use of information obtained from these models. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. Users should verify AI-generated content before relying on it.
7.3 Reporting Issues: If an issue is noticed, users agree to inform us about such problems using our contact email address.
7.4 Content Rights: Users accept responsibility for having rights over any content shared, and permit Topics AI Assistant to use this for generating a response using AI.
